Description

Eastern Shore Classic Cars is excited to offer this low mileage classic. This Mercedes-Benz 450SL is finished in Silver Metallic and complimented by a Red leather interior. A factory hardtop in matching finish is also included. Factory coded as the R107 this classic roadster is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic. Current ownership is 10 years. The previous owner was a neighbor, so the history of the car is well known. The odometer shows an astonishingly low 64,660 miles which is believed to be original. Additional features include electric front windows, climate control, Tempo mat Cruise Control, and black soft top in excellent condition. The owner and seller note the vehicle runs and drives well with all functions working. This 450SL is offered with a hardtop stand, two keys, soft top wrench, manufacturer's literature, and a clean MD title in the seller’s name. The cabin is finished in Red leather with matching carpets and trim. There is wear on the center armrest. Please note that in the photos. The headliner is in perfect condition. A set of red-carpet floor mats are included in the sale. Zabrano trim accents the dash, console, shifter, and door panels. The black four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and an analog clock. Additional auxiliary gauges include fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The fuel-injected 4.5L SOHC V8 originally made 180 horsepower for the US market. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery along with those showing hardtop removal tool. The owner has enjoyed driving this classic over the last ten years but realizes with a growing family that it is time to pass this on to someone who can give the car the attention and driving that it deserves. ESCC and the seller are all about full disclosure. The owner notes that there are some chips under the hardtop on the rear deck that are hidden when installed. The interior is in very good condition outside of the arm rest. There is a small amount of rust in the driver’s side rear panel under the car. Please see photos for clarity on these issues. Please view a walk around video at www.easternshoreclassiccars.com or at our YouTube Channel of the same name. Inquiries can be directed to hank@easternshoreclassiccars.com or text to 201-317-9277. Offered at 15,000, reasonable for a car of this condition and mileage (64,660). The car is located near Baltimore MD.
